Bring in your old bike and bring some joy to the kids!

We invite you to take part in the collection. We’ll be waiting on 12 September

Have you been sorting through your cycling gear at the end of the season and wondering what to do with your old, unused bits and pieces and that old bike? Don’t throw them away! On Saturday 12 September, take part in the collection drive we’re organising in partnership with the Mierz Wysoko Association. The equipment collected will support the association’s beneficiaries. By the way, during the event you’ll be able to use the mobile bike repair service free of charge.

From 10.00 to 16.00, you can bring new and second-hand bikes of any size and in any condition, bike parts, frames, wheels, cycling accessories – helmets, lights, locks, etc. – as well as tools useful for repairing bicycles.

The items collected during the drive will be sent to the Open Bicycle Workshop run by the Mierz Wysoko Association. There, young people, under the guidance of the Association’s volunteers, learn DIY skills, how to repair equipment and how to build their own bikes.

Take advantage of the free bike service

In return for the equipment donated and your generosity, the Mierz Wysoko Association will be running a free mobile bike service during the event. At a special stand in the car park in front of our shopping centre, you’ll be able to have your bike checked and minor repairs carried out, such as adjusting brakes and derailleurs, lubricating the chain, or learning how to replace and patch a punctured inner tube. The mobile bike service will be open throughout the collection.
